From Babushkas’s Kitchen: The Perfect Dough for Dumplings & Varenyky

How to cook?

If you’re in the mood to spend some time by the stove.
And if not — Babushkas dumplings are waiting for you at your nearest store (with fillings for every taste) 🤫🇺🇸

You’ll need:
• 2½–3 cups of flour
• ½ cup of milk
• ⅓ cup of boiling water
• 1 egg
• A pinch of salt
• 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Pour milk, egg, salt, and boiling water into the flour.
Mix into a dough, then add the oil and knead well until smooth.

Cover and let rest under a towel for 20–30 minutes 🧑‍🍳

Roll it out thin, cut circles using a glass, place the filling, and shape your dumplings or varenyky 👌

Then go ahead — cook them any way you like: boil them the traditional way, pan-fry them golden, or even bake them!
